How to choose placemats for your dining table
Round or rectangular?
Round placemats soften the look of a square or round table and frame a single plate neatly. Rectangular placemats give each setting room for cutlery and a glass, which suits longer dining tables.
Placemat sizes
Our round Charme placemats measure Ø38 cm and our rectangular Charme placemats measure 30 x 45 cm. The Fiore cotton placemat measures 34 x 25 cm.
PVC or cotton?
Charme placemats are made of PVC in gold or silver, so they add shine to festive dinners and wipe clean after meals. Fiore placemats are 100% cotton with an embroidered monogram, for a softer look in Pristine, Latte, Burgundy, Midnight Blue or Teal.
Caring for your placemats
Charme (PVC): wipe clean with a damp soft cloth. Do not soak or bleach, and do not dry clean or wring.
Fiore (cotton): hand or machine wash in warm water (30°C) on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, washing dark and bright colours separately. Do not soak, bleach, dry clean or wring. Tumble dry on low heat and iron if necessary.
