How to choose the right bed linen
The fabric is the biggest choice. Each of our collections is made from a single fibre, so you know exactly what you are sleeping on.
| Fabric | Collection | Thread count |
|---|---|---|
| 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell | Bloomsbury, Bloomsbury Luxury | 900 or 1200 |
| 100% Extra Fine Long Staple Cotton | Queensberry | 1100 |
| 100% Supreme Long Staple Cotton | Supreme | 1200 |
| 100% Pima Cotton | Pima Cotton | 1300 |
| 100% Pure Gauze Cotton | Nuage | 800 |
| 100% Premium Cotton Sateen or 100% Cotton | Selected Bloomsbury designs | 1200 or 800 |
TENCEL™ Lyocell is made from wood pulp fibres and is known for absorbing moisture well, which many people like in Singapore's humid weather. Our long staple cottons are soft, colour fast and durable, while the pure gauze cotton in our Nuage collection feels like a smooth, delicate second skin.
Thread count is the number of threads woven into a set area of fabric. We measure it per 10 sq cm, and our bed linen ranges from 800 to 1300. A higher count usually means a denser, smoother sheet, but fibre quality and weave matter just as much.
